It’s time for Lompoc to thrive rather than simply survive.

There is a deep sense of community in Lompoc, but there’s also a growing frustration that our town is being left behind. The people who live and work here aren’t focused on politics. They’re focused on building a good life, raising their families, starting businesses, and creating opportunities for the next generation. They deserve leadership that matches their work ethic and a City Hall that is responsive, transparent, and committed to helping people succeed, not standing in their way.

I love this city. I was born and raised in Lompoc, and my wife and I are choosing to raise our young son and daughter here because we believe in this community and its future. Having had the privilege of serving on the City Council, I’ve seen firsthand both our remarkable strengths and the persistent challenges that hold us back. Lompoc has a solid foundation: a balanced budget, dedicated employees, hardworking first responders, and passionate residents who care deeply about where they live. We always hear about Lompoc’s “potential”. It’s time to move our city from just maintaining to actively building its future.

As mayor, I want to help build a city that is open for business, welcomes thoughtful investment, and encourages entrepreneurs and job creators to plant roots here. I want City Hall to be known for solving problems, not creating them. Whether someone wants to open a small business, invest in new housing, or improve an existing property, our role should be to provide clear guidance, responsive service, and a partnership that helps good ideas move forward.

Most importantly, I want to lead a city where every resident is treated with dignity and respect. Regardless of your background, your neighborhood, or your life story, if you call Lompoc home, you deserve to know that your local government sees you, listens to you, and is working every day to make this community stronger. We are neighbors first, and when we work together with mutual respect, there is no limit to what Lompoc can become.
